Meet Austin’s Most Stylish Men of 2026

IN THREE WORDS, I WOULD DESCRIBE MY STYLE AS POLISHED, PROFESSIONAL, PRACTICAL.

WHEN I WAS A KID, I WAS DREAMING BIG AND FINDING WAYS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME, I WOULD TELL MYSELF TO STOP BEING MY OWN BIGGEST CRITIC. GO FOR IT—AND DO IT WITH CONFIDENCE!

IT MAKES ME HAPPY WHEN THE ORCHESTRA STARTS TO PLAY BEFORE A SHOW.

FIVE THINGS LEFT ON MY BUCKET LIST ARE BEING A JUDGE AT THE DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS AUDITIONS, TRAVELING TO EVERY CONTINENT, WRITING A BOOK, STARTING A FAMILY AND REACHING EGOT STATUS.

THE BEST ADVICE I EVER GOT WAS, “IF YOU’RE NOT HAVING FUN, DON’T DO IT.”

“I’m not what meets the eye,” says athlete Gerrie Labuschagne.

Former professional rugby player Gerrie “G” Labuschagne moved to Austin in February 2026 and can often be spotted in Ralph Lauren buttondowns, Levi’s or vintage sportswear. Hailing from South Africa, Labuschagne wore mostly athletic gear for more than a decade while he played in his native South Africa, and then Japan and North America. “But my style got more polished from international travel and modeling,” he explains. “And then I have adopted the cowboy spirit, aka Matthew McConaughey, since moving to Austin.” Nowadays Labuschagne changes looks often, depending on whether he is hanging out with his two young children, playing pickleball and golf, or promoting SuckerPunch Gourmet (suckerpunchpickles. com), a local company selling flavor-packed pickles and electrolyte-rich pickle juice shots. “I also play guitar and enjoy spending time with good friends grilling, relaxing, and sharing a nice South African brandy or glass of wine,” he says. As for what’s next, Labuschagne is building an online coaching platform to help young adults become professional athletes and instill confidence throughout their health and fitness journeys. And he dreams of becoming an NFL kicker. Call it the Austin effect: a little more polish, a little more cowboy, and no shortage of ambition.

IN THREE WORDS, I WOULD DESCRIBE MY STYLE AS ELEGANT, UNIQUE AND SWAGGY.

IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME, I WOULD TELL MYSELF TO LIVE MORE IN THE MOMENT. THE FUTURE TAKES CARE OF ITSELF IF YOU TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.

FIVE THINGS LEFT ON MY BUCKET LIST ARE TRAVELING THE WORLD, APPEARING ON THE TRAITORS, PLAYING IN THE NFL, LIVING THROUGH MY KIDS’ EYES AND BECOMING A WORSHIP LEADER AT CHURCH.

THE BEST ADVICE I EVER GOT WAS, “DON’T WORRY TOO MUCH ABOUT THE OPINIONS OF OTHERS.”

IF I HAD THREE WISHES, I WOULD ASK FOR MORE TIME WITH MY KIDS, A LOTTERY WIN TO HELP AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN AND THE CHANCE TO KNOW AT 19 WHAT I KNOW NOW.

JEREMY HILLS

“I’m not afraid to experiment,” says Jeremy Hills. “If I like something and feel like I can make it my own, I’ll wear it.”

Jeremy Hills moved to Austin in 2007 to play football at the University of Texas and he remains here, building the next chapter as founder and CEO of The Kollective, a members-only club where performance, recovery, wellness and community live under one roof. “The Kollective is entering a really exciting chapter,” he says. “We’re expanding beyond Texas, with Nashville becoming our first out-of-state location.” Though he is often seen in fitness gear at work, outside he elevates. “I pull inspiration from people like Pharrell and Jerry Lorenzo,” he explains, “guys who can move between high fashion, streetwear, and something more refined without ever looking like they’re trying too hard.” Though Hills confesses his closet contains “way too many shoes” and plenty of unworn items, his holiday wish list includes a Saint Laurent tailored jacket, Prada leather coat, Fear of God overcoat, Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter Drop 300 sneakers and Dior Médaillon Loafers. But Hills’ most notable accoutrement is not from a rack. “I think the best thing you can wear is confidence, but real confidence comes from doing the work when nobody is watching,” he says. “Whether it’s business, training, style or life, I’ve always believed the outside should just be an expression of what you’ve already built on the inside.” thekollective.com

IN THREE WORDS, I WOULD DESCRIBE MY STYLE AS CLEAN, ELEVATED AND VERSATILE.

WHEN I WAS A KID, I WAS COMPETITIVE, CURIOUS AND ALWAYS DREAMING BIGGER.

IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME, I WOULD TELL MYSELF TO TRUST MY INSTINCTS SOONER.

FIVE THINGS LEFT ON MY BUCKET LIST ARE TRAVELING THE WORLD, COACHING MY SON, WRITING A BOOK, BUILDING SOMETHING THAT OUTLIVES ME AND SEEING TEXAS WIN ANOTHER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

THE BEST ADVICE I EVER GOT WAS, “REMEMBER, THE MOST VALUABLE THINGS IN LIFE CARRY NO PRICE TAG.”

IF I WASN’T IN MY CURRENT CAREER, I WOULD BE… HONESTLY, I HAVE NO IDEA. I CAN’T IMAGINE DOING ANYTHING ELSE.

GREGG DONNELLY

Gregg Donnelly, founder and designer of Jack Donnelly, at the production facility in Los Angeles

“Fifteen years in, I’m as excited about making pants as I’ve ever been,” says Gregg Donnelly, founder and designer of Jack Donnelly, an independently owned and operated menswear brand. “We’re committed to making exceptional products in the U.S.A. and seeing just how far we can take it.” Donnelly moved to Austin almost 11 years ago after graduating from Texas Christian University and working in Dallas, eventually landing in Clarksville where he and his wife are raising their first child. “Austin always felt special whenever I visited,” he recalls. “It was a city that supported local businesses, had an entrepreneurial spirit and still possessed a certain rawness that I dug. It felt like the perfect place to plant the Jack Donnelly flag.” This season, locals might see him in uniform playing sandlot baseball with the Austin Moontowers and in swimwear relaxing in Barton Springs or Deep Eddy. Or he might be decked out in a Richter Goods Terlingua Trucker Jacket, a Crescent Down Works North by Northwest vest, a blue Oxford from Gitman Vintage, and, most likely, Jack Donnelly’s Original Twill 001 Relaxed chinos. He will not be in the latest trends. “I’ve been wearing a couple of vintage Polo and Nautica button-downs from the ‘90s lately, and I love the way they fit,” he says. “I’m also always drawn to monochromatic kits. So this fall, I’m leaning into relaxed, monochrome and MiUSA [made in the United States of America].” jackdonnelly.com

IN THREE WORDS, I WOULD DESCRIBE MY STYLE AS MAD, CLASSIC AND TROUSERS.

WHEN I WAS A KID, I WAS BEGGING MY MOM FOR THE LATEST PAIR OF JORDANS.

IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME, I WOULD TELL MYSELF TO GET IN YOUR BAG SOONER. DON’T OVERTHINK IT

OASIS MAKES ME HAPPY.

BECOMING A FATHER CHANGED MY LIFE.

FIVE THINGS LEFT ON MY BUCKET LIST ARE SEEING GORILLAS IN RWANDA, WHALES IN TONGA, THE AMAZON, LIAM GALLAGHER IN JACK DONNELLY AND HAVING MORE KIDS.

THE BEST ADVICE I EVER GOT WAS, “DON’T LET ANYBODY KNOCK YOU OFF YOUR BLOCK.”

WALKER MOLINARE

“I like combining refined pieces with something unexpected or a little rugged,” says developer Walker Molinare.

With the opening of bohème, a luxury experiential boutique hotel in East Austin, Walker Molinare says his privately held real estate investment and development firm is entering an exciting new chapter: “[This project] brings together so many things I’m passionate about: hospitality, design, art, culture and creating memorable experiences.” The founder and chief visionary officer of Elysian Real Estate Group is also focused on developing and renovating apartment communities, building an industrial development, and imagining The High Road District, an ambitious mixeduse district just south of Austin. But outside of work, he says, wellness and fitness are a big part of his life. He loves to draw, play golf at Austin Country Club and travel, and adds, “I’m borderline irrational about all things University of Texas football and basketball.” Otherwise Molinare can be found at home in Westlake with his wife, two high schoolers and a black Labradoodle who, Molinare says, “is convinced the house revolves around him.” He jokes his closet there is, “organized chaos with very good tailoring,” but that matches his eclectic, intentional flair. “I might wear a tailored suit one day and denim, boots and a T-shirt the next. The common thread is that it needs to feel authentic rather than overly considered. The best Austin style has always had a little dust on its boots.” elysian-re.com

I WOULD DESCRIBE MY STYLE AS ECLECTIC, REFINED AND MODERN-WESTERN.

IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME, I WOULD TELL MYSELF TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH MY PARENTS. EVERY MOMENT MATTERS.

FOOTBALL CHANGED MY LIFE. IT TAUGHT ME RESILIENCE, ACCOUNTABILITY, TEAMWORK AND HOW TO LEAD.

FIVE THINGS LEFT ON MY BUCKET LIST ARE STANDING BENEATH THE PYRAMIDS OF GIZA, CAGE DIVING WITH A GREAT WHITE SHARK, WATCHING MY CHILDREN BUILD HAPPY LIVES AND FAMILIES, GOING ON AN AFRICAN SAFARI WITH MY FAMILY AND DESIGNING AND BUILDING ANOTHER HOTEL ENTIRELY FROM SCRATCH.

THE BEST ADVICE I EVER GOT WAS, “THERE ARE TRULY ONLY TWO THINGS YOU CAN CONTROL IN YOUR LIFE, AND THAT’S YOUR EFFORT AND YOUR ATTITUDE.”

IF I WASN’T IN MY CURRENT CAREER, I WOULD BE AN INTERIOR DESIGNER.

IF I HAD THREE WISHES I WOULD ASK FOR MORE TIME WITH THE PEOPLE I LOVE, ENDLESS RESOURCES TO KEEP BUILDING EXTRAORDINARY HOTELS AND ONE MORE TEXAS LONGHORNS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
