DJs are now subject to star ratings.
A new app likened to “Letterboxd for clubbing” has launched, allowing users to rate DJ sets, festivals, live shows and more after a night out.
Founded by Tough Luck, Seen Live is described as a “personal live music archive” where you can document nightlife.
The app allows you to log events you’ve attended, search for club nights and gigs, explore popular live performances, rate shows, share your experiences, and more.

It also lets you follow friends and “like-minded” music fans, and create a “visual archive” of your nightlife activity by sharing photos and videos from an event.
“I built Seen Live because I realised that I couldn’t remember half of the artists and DJs I’d seen live after a while, and all the photos and videos from those nights were buried somewhere in my camera roll with no context,” the founder behind Seen Livr tells Mixmag.
“I wanted one place to look back on everything, a proper archive of every show I’d ever been to,” he adds, calling it a place where users can “share their experiences of nights out”.

It’s also launched with the hopes that users can “discover new artists through each other’s reviews and find their next favourite DJ from someone who was actually in the room”.
